New - Public Service Announcement - Scientists Find California’s Tidepools Are in Trouble - California’s coastline is beautiful and fragile. As the tide recedes, rocky intertidal communities known as tidepools are exposed. Destroying these tidepools is a serious problem. What can you do to help? 1) Don’t pick up or remove animals, shells or rocks from tidepools. 2) Don’t turn over rocks as it exposes sea life. 3) Do walk gently, don’t step on or crush plants or animals. - For more information go to marine.gov - This public service announcement is brought to you by the Minerals Management Service and the Multi-Agency Rocky Intertidal Network.
